K A Hawkins Constructions undertook a large extension on the rear of an existing Queenslander and a renovation of the existing structure. As it was in a Brisbane flood zone, various special conditions had to be undertaken throughout the design and construction phase. The extension included a new deck, lounge room, kitchen, master bedroom, master bathroom, office and laundry. The existing structure included all new floorboards, full re paint, and structural internal wall changes. The external works comprised of complete new roof, skylights, cladding and window hoods. Added with plenty of colour throughout by the clients it was a memorable project.
